When you are about to go for dance completion, there are so many factors that have to be considered. It is just not about the dance. You have to put in so much effort concerning appearance and leaving a unique impression that will make your performance unforgettable. The following are seven things that can get you started before the dance competition.

Smile
This does not necessarily mean that there are dance pieces that require you to portray a sad impression. It means to have a good and positive attitude. Wish your fellow dancers and competitors as well good luck and tell a good job after a performance. Dance is a fun experience which can turn out to be a hectic and stressful event. However, if you maintain a smile, you will be able to cruise through without any stress.

Music
Music is what determines the story that you intend to tell with your piece. Therefore, before you go to the dance competition, it is essential to ensure that your music has been backed up in devices such as the flash disks or even the crowd. This is a measure that should be strictly followed to avoid any crisis that may get you disqualified or miss a performance.

Costumes
This is a crucial aspect because image sells. Leaving a perfect impression is part of
dance, and therefore you should ensure that the costume you choose is as good as the dance. The best way to do this is to choose the fabric that will suit you dance and make your dancing easy. You can consult a dance fabrics company who will avail you with all the available options to make your dance piece is a success. These fabrics can be used to design tops, bottoms, headpieces, everything.

Body tights or glue
Body glue is essential as it ensures that the one two-piece that you have on shows nothing that should not be shown when you are moving around on stage. Always ensure you carry extra pairs in case one of the dancers forgets to carry theirs.

Makeup
Makeup is part of your costume. Always ensure you select a professional makeup artist who will do your make up. This is because it is important to complement the dance routine that you intend on doing. It is also essential to look beautiful as you perform. Using fake eyelashes can one way of making you look beautiful on stage as it makes your eyes pop.

Hairspray
Hairspray helps your hair stay perfect even after a long day of performances and long stage routines.

Bobby pins
It is not advisable as a dancer to have stray hair and bangs as you perform. Therefore, you ensure that you get bobby pins which usually come in packs. This is because having stray hair will make it difficult for the judges to focus on your unique lines and facial expression as you perform because your hair will be flying everywhere.
