H&M unveils upscaled South East flagship store

H&M has opened its new 3,716 sq m upsized statement store at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. The new store is the brand's flagship for the South East and features an additional 1,393 sq m of space, a 60 per cent increase on its previous unit.

The full H&M product range is available in the store, including collections for women, men, teenagers and children. In addition, the store stocks the brand’s collaborations with leading fashion designers, such as the H&M x KENZO range that launched worldwide on 3 November 2016.

'We are very pleased to welcome this new statement store for H&M. Our strategy is to create bespoke stores for key retailers that allow them to truly bring their brands to life. This creates an even more engaging experience for our guests, driving loyalty and growing sales at Bluewater as a consequence,' says Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater.

It is the latest in a line of strategic upsizes at Bluewater, following the opening of larger statement stores by Next and Fat Face in the last 18 months.
