No. 6 Mortimer beauty concept store pops up in London

A new beauty gifting pop-up has opened in Fitzrovia for the festive season called No. 6 Mortimer. The shop looks more like a chic living room than a store, complete with a family-style table and cosy fireplace with stockings and mince pies. The space is packed with exclusive limited edition gift sets and products from various beauty brands including La Mer, Estée Lauder, Origins, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Bumble & Bumble, GLAMGLOW, Aveda, Clinique, Darphin and LAB Series.

The pop-up encourages visitors to take their time in store with a strong focus on experiences. Alongside the gifts, the concept store is hosting festive Christmas workshops throughout December with local artisans, including wreath making with luxury florist Augustus Bloom; bespoke card and gift design with BBC New Design of the Year Award finalist Zoe Murphy; and an introduction to calligraphy workshop by Chiara Perano, founder of Lamplighter London.

For time-pushed London consumers, the shop is working alongside Facebook to offer a gifting delivery service through Messenger. Customers can simply pick out a gift and have it delivered to their door the same day.

In 2017 the pop-up space will transform into a store that caters to a range of gifting traditions including Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day.
