Essence opens Berlin pop-up in celebration of 15th anniversary

In celebration of its 15th anniversary, cosmetics brand Essence has opened a pop-up store in Berlin. Open until July 2017, The Essence Maker Shop has been designed by Dfrost to emphasise the ‘do-it-yourself’ spirit, allowing customers to create their own unique products.

The 175 sq m store is spread over two floors and encourages experimentation, inspiration and creating individual products. Colourful and playful items of furniture bring the space to life, alongside lighting installations, specially developed graphics and photo wallpapers.

Supporting the selfie lifestyle was one of the main criteria of the design concept. There are features everywhere throughout the space that encourage customers to take photos and share them on social media.
