Swarovski is offering customers personalisation opportunities at its new Crystal Lab within the Robinsons department store at Dubai Festival City. Customers can add extra sparkle to their products with glittering Swarovski crystals – everything from outerwear, shoes and denim to home accessories.
Designed by Dfrost, the Crystal Lab allows guests to become designers themselves. The space is dominated by light materials and sophisticated rose-gold metal, while the concrete-style highlight wall stands in contrast to the delicate design.
The airy, elegant store concept underlines the glamour of the Swarovski brand. It also emphasises the appeal of the Swarovski experience and sets the stage for extremely flexible visual merchandising for products of all sizes. At the same time, the store becomes an inspiring show room.
At the centre of the two-storey presentation display is a selection of rose-gold cubes designed by Dfrost. The metal cubes and the fitted grids are decorated with various items at different heights. They provide a framework for the floor design without cluttering the space, creating openness and transparency. The unobstructed view of the interior remains. The cubes also provide the framework for flexible and straightforward visual merchandising.
