Dating app service Match has opened a fun pop-up experience in Exmouth Market, London in the lead up to Valentine's Day. Organised in collaboration with Appear Here, the 'Eau.M.G.' pop-up offers visitors the chance to sniff six different bottle fragrances created from the scents of actual male Match members. The retail experience matches individuals based on their instinctive attraction to the different bottled scents.
The fragrances were created in partnership with Parisian laboratory CARACTER, which uses olfactory photography to capture individuals’ unique essence.
Each perfume sample corresponds with a real Match individual’s profile; if a visitor finds a scent that they think is a good match, they’ll be able to get in touch with the real-life member by following a link on the packaging, and speak to them directly through Match using a free three-day trial.
