St David's welcomes Bershka

Bershka has opened its latest store at St David's in Cardiff, marking its debut in the region. The new contemporary 789 sq m store, situated on Upper Grand Arcade, has been designed by an in-house team and provides the brand’s unique design concept. The store sits directly opposite sister brand Stradivarius, which made its successful Welsh debut at the centre earlier this year.

'Bershka’s decision to debut their Welsh flagship at St David’s further demonstrates the destination’s appeal to international brands wanting to enter the Welsh market. With its location in the heart of Cardiff and strong catchment, it appeals as a destination for retailers like Bershka to expand their portfolios. Amongst the likes of Stradivarius and H&M, trend-setting Bershka will certainly sit well on the fashion-forward Upper Grand Arcade and its arrival this month ensures our visitors have an even greater selection of fashionable retailers to shop from this festive season,' says Colin Flinn, intu’s regional managing director - west, speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Landsec and intu.

This opening follows the recent signing of fast-casual American restaurant brand, Slim Chickens, also making its Welsh debut at St David’s with a new 222 sq m restaurant, the brand’s first site outside of London.
