Health, beauty and wellness specialist Windfall Natural has relocated to a larger, more flexible retail space in London where it offers an extended product range, more storytelling and regular events.

Designed in partnership with Dalziel & Pow, the store occupies a prominent double-fronted unit just 100m from the previous site in Chiswick and offers a personalised, connected experience.

It is more than just a shop, says a spokesperson for Dalziel & Pow. It reflects key shifts in the healthcare landscape, which has become less pharmaceutical and more driven by lifestyle, with a human touch and playful design aesthetic.

The interior evokes a traditional apothecary trader. Timber-framed racks in the centre of the store can be wheeled aside for events, while the kitchen table provides a focal point for consultation and social gatherings.

The space is spot-lit, enhanced by recycled industrial pendants that highlight key features, and softened with real plants.

The signage is low-tech and personal, using a combination of handwritten blackboards and timber light boxes.

'As the retail landscape continues to evolve we've focused on service and we believe that it will enable us to remain competitive going forward,' says Daniel Hunt, managing director at Windfall Natural.

The opening comes as the brand prepares to launch the Windfall Natural Clinic, offering in-depth health advice and a range of diagnostics, including blood tests and allergy testing.

Barcelona-based Prisma designed the brand identity while The Small Design Agency consulted on the fit out.
