Havaianas - Retratos

In February, miniature favelas sprung up in the windows of Havaianas White City and Carnaby Street to launch the new Retratos range of flip flops designed in collaboration with Brazilian artist Ricardo Negro.

Negro's paintings of the São Paulo favelas were at the heart of the project. The colourful images were printed large-scale on panels of foamex and layered between vinyl graphics. Tall pylons strung with cable emerge jauntily from between the houses, framing oversized renderings of the flip flops nestled amongst the bustling streets.

The windows were designed in collaboration with StudioXAG.
