Clarks Shoes has unveiled its AW18 pre-collection Trigenic windows on London's Regent Street.
The travel-inspired sandals and trainer profiles have the four design principles that are at the heart of the collection – using flex points in the soles to optimise the foot’s natural motion, a foot shaped last, a deconstructed upper for movement and responsive cushioning for all day support and comfort.
'For our Regent Street window we really wanted to showcase the Trigenic sole unit in the most powerful way,' says a spokesperson for Clarks. 'The window has one giant sole unit that has been deconstructed to show the flexibility within the shoe. A red strobe light moves between the flex points emphasising the flex in the product and our campaign line “moves you naturally”.'
Beneath the deconstructed sole is a plinth, which showcases the lead marketing styles and features the copy line ‘Targeted flex points optimise the foot’s natural movement’.
The concept was created by the Clarks in-house design team and production by Harlequin design.
