RetailEXPO, Europe’s leading retail trade show that brings together Reed’s three leading trade shows – RBTE, RDE and RDSE – in to a new single show format, has announced a series of show features, all showcasing innovation, from tech disruptors to the latest tech start-ups re-energising the retail industry to deliver enhanced customer experience, as it counts down to the event this week.

Bringing together over 15,000 retailers, tech exhibitors and retail design businesses on 1 – 2 of May at London’s Olympia, RetailEXPO will be showcasing even more retail tech innovation and design inspiration for the 2019 show.

Returning for a second successive year due to popular demand, RetailEXPO’s Start-Up Safari tours have been curated by independent business and technology consultants, Baringa.  Showcasing the very latest disruptive technologies that are pushing the boundaries of retail innovation, Start-Up Safari tours will run throughout the two day event.

Featured as part of the Start Up Safaris in 2019 are: Konnecto, a digital research platform; Increasingly, AI cross selling solution; BlackCurve, a pricing optimisation engine; NearSt, a live inventory tracking management platform that drives in-store footfall by connecting the products to local shoppers’ search;

Featuring exhibitors not yet seen at the show before, the Discovery Zone showcases the latest in game-changing tech with a mixture of disruptive start-ups and established tech companies with future-fit innovations to meet the needs of new retail.

Exhibitors featured in the Discovery Zone include among others: Neurolabs, a product recognition system supporting fully automated checkout experiences; Shoppar, a customer analytics software provider; Detego, a real-time RFID solution preventing out of stocks and improved inventory visibility; and Yapster, a mobile messaging app for store associates.

Vive la technologie in La France Tech Lounge, curated by Business France

Always looking to bring retail inspiration from around the globe, once again there is a strong international representation at RetailEXPO 2019.

La French Tech Lounge, curated in partnership with Business France, showcases the very best retail tech start-ups from across the Channel, including: Hubstairs, a 3D virtual content provider; Indigo, an IoT-enabled merchandising platform; Untie Nots, a gamification app for shoppers; and Dotaki, an AI solution that improves online conversions by adapting content and experiences to each visit.
