The Church Commissioners continue to bring new brands to Connaught Village and are delighted to welcome the opening of the brand-new Simon Carter flagship store which will be located at 20 Connaught Street.
The new store is split across two floors with a combined size of 1049 square foot. There will be a traditional retail store on the ground floor and wholesale showroom in the basement which will operate on an appointment basis. The largest of all Simon Carter stores, this opening will be the fifth site of the luxury menswear brand to open in London, alongside stores in Mayfair, Blackheath, Crystal Palace and Chiswick.
Simon Carter, founder and CEO of Simon Carter says: “I’m delighted to be opening my new flagship shop on Connaught Street, in the heart of London’s historic Connaught Village. It will give me an opportunity to showcase my brand and my full collection of menswear and accessories. As a heritage brand with a strong London heritage, this is the perfect location with it’s mix of individual and unique shops and restaurants. I look forward to welcoming new customers and old to my brand here in Connaught Village.”
While consumers across the UK are choosing to shop locally, Connaught Village remains an attractive and established destination for leading independent fashion, interiors, art and design retailers to base themselves. The Simon Carter Connaught Street flagship store is set to open its doors as soon as they are safely able to and is a welcome addition to the diverse retail offering in the Village.
James Parker, Assistant Manager – Commercial Real Estate, comments: “We are really excited to welcome Simon Carter to Connaught Village as the latest addition to our growing line-up of independent brands with unique offerings. Simon Carter are a distinctly British brand, with a quirky eccentricity and have an excellent track record for operating out of similar locations across London.”
The Church Commissioners are due to make more exciting announcements over the coming months on the ever-evolving happenings in Connaught Village including new signings, pop-up and virtual events, as well as innovative artistic displays.
