The Perfume Shop has announced plans to open its first experiential concept store offering customers a creative and innovative experience, unparalleled expertise and the full collection of perfumes.

The new concept store will open on the 19th September in Meadowhall shopping centre, Sheffield, and will showcase interactive areas such as a central play table for perfume self-discovery with an interactive perfume wheel with scented sensors to create an experience to awaken the senses using touch and feel rather than just smell alone. A range of scented funnels with iPads will also be on offer to help customers discover their favourite fragrances.  These new discovery methods have been designed to appeal to millennial customers who are looking for assistance to find the right scent for them

The store will also have a unique personalisation area where customers will be able to decorate their purchases with diamantes, initials, gems, ribbons, pearls, bows and charms when they make a perfume purchase. In addition a personalisation service will engrave bottles with names or messages for a small charge, perfect for capturing those important life moments.. The store will also launch some new gift wrapping ideas including personalised ribbon and gift wrap.

Designed by the internal team at The Perfume Shop the store will feature an feature Instagrammable chandelier with stunning floral design, reusing perfume bottles to highlight the Bottle Recycling service which allows customers to bring in any old perfume bottle for specialist recycling in return for a 10% discount on perfumes bought on the day.

To celebrate the opening The Perfume Shop has partnered with Meadowhall to offer free goody bags for the first 50 people through the door from 10am on 19th September. Customers will receive a tag which they can take to the till and exchange for a goody bag containing at least one full bottle of perfume.  The week of the launch will see a series of events and activities to celebrate every aspect of fragrance and perfume including art of personalisation parties and expertise sessions.  To find out more about the schedule of events customers can visit
